"A Life at the Pictures" is a short documentary film looking back at the life of the Chester Odeon through the eyes of local resident Joyce Cook.
As members of the Chester Film Co-op CNP Films were lucky enough to be asked to interview Joyce about her memories. She talks about the Chester Odeon being opened by Douglas Fairbanks Junior in 1936 to its proposed rebirth as the Cultural Centre in 2016.
Using a mixture of interview footage and archive photos - the film is a nostalgic and affectionate look at a life watching movies.
